Telehealth assessment from the convenience of home
Name it so you can tame it
When a child regularly acts stubborn, oppositional, defiant, or argumentative, it leaves everyone exasperated. We help you understand what's going on and what you can do to change things.
What we offer:
- Multi-informant diagnostic assessment that integrates standardized rating scales from parents and teachers and standardized tests we deliver to children via telehealth.
- Assessment from the comfort of your own home.
- Specific recommendations to address your child’s challenges, including school-based accommodations and interventions, out-of-school therapies, and parenting strategies.
- Receive your report within two weeks of the completion of testing.
What you can expect:
Families receive a compassionate, evidence-based explanation for their child’s behavior, a diagnosis if applicable, and a roadmap for change—including behavior strategies, therapy recommendations, and school-based supports.

Frequently asked questions
Can’t find the answer here? Contact our team
What age ranges do you see?
We see children ages 7 to 12 who are able to interact with an examiner via telehealth appointment for extended periods of time–30 minutes at a time before a brief break.
Are there conditions you don’t test for?
We are not able to assess youth with severe anxiety or depression, youth who are at high risk of self-harm, youth with eating disorders, and youth who are unable for whatever reason to complete telehealth based standardized testing.
What does the process involve?
You’ll meet with a psychologist so they can better understand your concerns and so they can determine whether we are the right provider for you. We will ask you and your child’s teacher to complete some questionnaires about your child. A member of our team will meet with your child via telehealth to ask some questions, and administer some tests.
What happens after testing?
The psychologist will write a report summarizing what we learned. We will meet with you, and sometimes your child, to share what we learned and our recommendations. And we will share a detailed report of what we learned. Whenever possible, we will refer you to specific high-quality providers.
What tests do you use?
The specific rating scales and tests will depend on your specific concerns. We use high-quality assessments that have been validated for diagnostic assessment and are sold by reputable publishers.
Is telehealth testing as good as in-person testing?
What technology do I need?
To work with us, you need to have a reliable internet connection at home, a laptop or desktop with working camera and microphone (not an iPad), an additional phone or device available to use as camera a quiet, private space available for sessions with minimal interruptions, and a parent or guardian available during sessions for assistance if needed. We will provide instructions for set-up on the day of testing.
How do I get started?
Complete our intake form. Someone will reach out to you within 48 hours.
Do I need a referral from my pediatrician?
No referral is required.
How much does an assessment cost?
The cost ranges from $250 to $4,000, depending on the assessment process and diagnostic services needed. Parents pay for the services and we provide documentation you submit to your insurance company. Reimbursement rates vary. The services can often be paid for using HSA/FSA/ESA funds.
Ready for comprehensive, compassionate support?
Don’t wait months—or years—for better. Wherever you are in your autism care journey, get answers and a clear path forward.
